My name is Purplegrasshopper, and I'm an American Idol (AI) fan. Been watching it since the first season. After years of derision and ridicule from friends and family, I was relegated to conceal my fanboyism. Between seasons, I troll the AI forums to get my fix. I can only hope that one day the show will be cancelled so I can free myself of the addiction.
