I know, I mentioned the forbidden word, but I've noticed on occasion that when I search for a blu-ray on Amazon and the HD-DVD counterpart is still listed (in stock too, i might add) it's still fairly expensive (sometimes even more than the Blu-ray version). Anyone know why Amazon hasn't discounted many of their HD-DVDs? I'd think they would want to get rid of them all, no?
One example, the Troy DC Bluray is 18.99.....HD-DVD is $32 ![]() Sidenote: I assume this thread is still considered appropriate for OT. This has nothing to do with bashing HD-DVD or discussing the no-longer-existent format war, just my curiosity of Amazon's pricing. Last edited by Sussudio; 01-20-2009 at 04:40 PM. |
