Hi
I bought a PS3 last week in the uk and thus far haven't an HDTV. My TV is a Panny TX-32PD50 which believe it or not, show's dvd's limitations so I decided to go with Blu-ray. Problem is that even though in the Video settings on PS3 i set the component cable to 576p, when I play Blu-ray movies the output is changed to 480p! This effectively makes the movies look worse than pal DVDs! When I play downloaded trailers in 1080p from ps3 website the output is set to 576p which looks brilliant (in SD! ) but when Blu-ray discs are played, the format is changed to 480p. Is there anyway of changing this? Thanks Sorry if this has been covered! Matt |
