Global watch for Region 1 Blu-Ray releases

Here's an example why we need to watch for region 1 and region free Blu-ray releases in other parts of the world.

While on ebay searching for SuperBit DVD's with dts 6.1 audio, low and behold, an offer for the entire Lord of the Rings saga, all three theatrical releases, "including" new scenes and expanded scenes, not on the US versions. I immediately purchased the set from Moscow, Russia of all places. Upon arrival, they were region free, all in SuperBit with dts 6.1 audio.

The point here is to watch as Blu-Ray movies unfold 'throughout the world' for releases that may not be available in the USA. I know of no others who have the set I purchased in Moscow. A real precious find. This could also be true in Blu-Ray. Let's watch and see!!!
