Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer is not a live action, big budget Hollywood movie, it's a 54 year old, animated Christmas TV program, and the Blu-ray doesn't have to look pristine. After Christmas, you're not going to watch it again until next year anyway. I can watch the DVD or even the VHS, and be satisfied with it. It's only 47 minutes! Besides, it's being broadcast on network TV repeatedly all this month, along with the other animated Christmas programs.

There are way too many specious assumptions here to take it seriously.
