Certainly, those who disliked this film are in the minority, as 'Sideways' garnered an impressive rating of 96% on Rotten Tomatoes (even slightly besting 'The Dark Knight's 94%). The multiple Oscar noms it earned were well-deserved. Will be double-dipping on the BD, although I expect the upgrade will be incremental....still, a film that gets better with each viewing.

I really liked the first half of the movie. Then once he fell into his depressed stupor, it got old quick. I just kept thinking, "Get off your butt and do something." And, no, I'm not one of the kiddies. Apparently the person who loaned it to me didn't care for it either (and she's less a kiddie than me) since she didn't want it back. I passed it off to someone else.
