Ok, I know it's happened to a lot of you. You're cruising local ads- Craigslist, ebay, local papers, what have you- and you find that killer deal.

For me, I found a pair of very good condition Polk RTi10's a guy wanted $275 for the pair for here locally. While I wasn't in the market, I jumped at them anyway. I figured I could talk the guy down a little bit or whatever. They had just been put up that day. I emailed the guy and got a response a couple of hours later:

"Sorry dude, they're sold."
