I'll never understand why people don't use/ check the dedicated threads. Not only is that where ALL the information is, it is the most likely place to get a constructive response to a question about that release.

Because this is the thread where some of us hear about these titles for the first time. I think I am going with the Russian language version and find a way to translate it

I watched part of this last night but started too late to finish. The 3d was very nice and there were some good pop-outs so it is promising for when I finish it. The bad news is although I knowingly purchased a Russian language only version with no subtitles (of any kind), the subtitles that I downloaded from the web are wrong. What is funny about the movie was the way I was able to line up the subtitles. The English speaking actors have dubbed Russian but the English is only turned down, not eliminated! I did go to the thread but didn't catch anything about the French version audio only being 2D. Might have been that I skipped over it. But the thread was what convinced me to get it.

It's still probably the best place to ask before purchasing is all though. We have so much discussion on 3D blu ray in this thread that the dedicated threads never get bumped/ used. Those threads are the handy resource for people who wish to purchase in future. Just imo though, I appreciate some do not feel that way.

Bummer. Got my copy of Snow Queen 3 from Amazon France which listed it having English 3D without excemption. English only for the special feature.

Getting refund and no need to return package. Though I think the German edition includes English, no language is specified on Amazon Germany and few other sites have it at all.

Will investigate further. Am learning there can be a lot of misinformation with overseas editions

Just checked the region B (locked) German 3D version of The Snow Queen 3.
Verified an English DTS-HD MA 5.1 English audio track for the main-feature, No forced subtitles. It has optional German subtitles and a reversible-cover.

Hey thanks so much. It's just that Amazon did not list the languages.

Amazon Germany said did not ship to U.S. but fortunately one of their market sellers did. Got it a bit cheaper than France so it all worked out.

I watched Sanctum 3D last night.
Very good movie. I hate tight spaces so this movie made me very uncomfortable. The movie was tense. the deaths were horrible and the story was good. Great 3D in this one too.

Must be brain dead lately.

For some reason I mistook the French version of Snow Queen 3 only having English audio on the 2D edition. It is on both.

Know we were talking about Forbidden Empire and I guess I mistook the two. Put in a cancellation for the German order and Amazon will get back to me to see if it hadn't been shipped yet. If worst comes to worse, I'll chuck up the return postage unless the refund difference doesn't make it worth it.

Great News.

Thought my new region free player was damaged, with the mechanism making an extremely loud noise during playback. Spoke to 220 electronics and the problem was having my other Blu-ray player on top of it. The noise is now gone.

Just played "New York City", a region B disc. Beautiful 3D. Just slightly disappointed that it focused on Manhattan and not really the outer boroughs. Also, there was nothing mentioned about me!

Watched Animals United today. I really enjoyed this little gem and the 3D was another big surprise. Wasn't expecting much and the 3D turned out to be very good with lots of the film being outside the screen and had some really cool pop outs also!

Just preordered Smallfoot from Amazon UK, haven't made a order from Amazon UK in well over a while.

Don't know if my copy will come with a slipcover though.
