The ability to browse third party pricing doesn't seem to be working entirely as a very small portion of titles are listed in the below links (same for other countries also). Is this something that can be easily fixed?
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/deals...ew&country=usa https://www.blu-ray.com/dvd/deals.ph...w&sortby=price :Edit: The theatrical search hasn't been working for me the past couple of days. Any search just reloads the search page again, https://www.blu-ray.com/theatrical/search.php, but as https://www.blu-ray.com/products/search.php?c=20 (same look and function just different URL). Just me or anyone else experiencing that? Last edited by keke; 04-02-2019 at 10:15 PM. |

How do I become an official contributor to Blu-Ray.com?
I've been told that some members see more information/lines when they edit a movie. For example: Title Keywords If a movie is released by Warner Archive Collection, instead of having this information added to the Movie title itself, it's added to the Title Keyword field. See this release as example: https://www.blu-ray.com/Scarecrow/331985/ If you select the US Blu-Ray release you can see the Warner Archive Collection as a subtitle below the title, but when you try to edit the movie, you can't see the Warner Archive Collection in the title like the Canadian version that I added because it's in a hidden field. I wouldn't mind having that option available if that's possible and i'll tackle the project of having all the Warner Archive Collection releases standardized. Please let me know! Issue:
The Lists feature is broken: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=316464 Blu-ray lists display the wrong movies and don't save. Movies lists display broken images when adding new movies to the list. |

Say I add a movie when it's first listed to my Wishlist. Especially for high-profile releases, there are bound to be all sorts of editions added. The way I see it functioning is that one would choose which region to get updates for, and then get an email with the name, picture, and basic details of the release when it's listed. Thank you for your time! |

Just wanting to toss this suggestion out. I've been editing a lot of titles, mostly ones that needed new master IDs. In the future could we get LGBTQ+ added as a genre? I tend to watch a lot of these, and never knew some of these were even out there, and think with a genre that would easily make them stick out would be much easier for others to find as well.

I would like to recommend looking up "Movies" by "Series." In the sorting order, you could choose "Series," and it would reduce the films to one entry per series (i.e. Planet Of The Apes). Standalone films would be listed as normal.
The order would be: 1. Series entries (in alphabetical order) 2. Standalone entries (in alphabetical order) Once a Series was clicked, you would be taken to a search page listing the movies in that series. Thank you for your consideration! |

When it comes to adding pictures for a movie or series to the master ID page, a lot of the times I get results such as "Bad aspect ratio (1.3523206751055), please upload images with an aspect ratio in- or close to 1:1.5."
Is there an easy way to see the ratio of an image, or software that would help get said image to that ratio? I have HQ images, but I guess they are too big... which really isn't that big, so I don't know. Might be a simple answer, if so, color me confused. ![]() |

When you get that bad aspect ratio error, either the height or the width of the image is too large. And you need to crop (remove) some of the height or the width (depending on which is too big) so the height vs width ratio is closer to 1.5. A common error here is to just change one of the dimensions of the image. But that will skew the image. Faces, for instance, will look abnormally fat or skinny. You want to crop (manually remove some of the height or width) until the image is the proper size. |

i think i've found a bug with the filter out all editions thing, if different SKU versions are linked to a movie boxset it'll still show the boxset on the deals bar at the top and even on the deals page with the filter all eiditons
3 examples, The Cornetto Trilogy is the 3 versionswith the digital copy stuff and the versions i have in my collection are the first print releases without any digital copies and the steelbook versions but this still pops up in the deals with the filter all editions option toggled the 2nd example is this X-men collection the version of First Class in it is just a standalone blu-ray version with no doubleplay dvd and the version of Days of The Future Past i have is the 3D version while the version in this is the 2D version the 3rd example is a reverse situation, i have the Alien Anthology but the newest standalone release of the 40th anniversary edition will pop up |

Is there a way to add a filter to the movie database to filter out the ''Not Interested'' titles when browsing the database?
Let's say I'm browsing the Blu-Ray Section for movies by letter ... let's say letter O ... the first movie I see ... Occhi Di Gatto Vol.2 and I open the entry and select the ''Not Interested' option. So when I browse the O section next, I won't see that entry. The same filter that was added to the Movie Deals section where you can filter for Watched, Not Watched, Not Interested to browse through the deals. Thanks. |

There was a rule of BD title - the English title first, if i remember correctly. But now i find out there's some changes occured. I mean this - "For foreign BDs use the foreign title first, then the English title within parantheses". I believe, there might be inconvinient if non-Latin characters were used. Consider this, i want to find all Russian releases, not just a certain title. So, i select country, then go to Database section->Blu-ray Movies->A. Then B, then C, and so on. (I'm diligent, you know.) What could be wrong with this? You never find those titles where HTML string stand first. For example, "Love and doves" title. Of course, you could easily find this release by the title. But never just looking through L because the string starts with ampersand symbol. And there are many titles like this.

As I've mentioned previously in this thread, I'd really like to see the title description revised to something simple: "Always put the English title first and the foreign title (if applicable) in parentheses" That is the way things seem to work in practice. When I look at most theatricals, I see a long list of BDs with the English title first and any foreign titles in parentheses: https://www.blu-ray.com/Cinderella/20531/ https://www.blu-ray.com/Groundhog-Day/19334/ https://www.blu-ray.com/2001-A-Space-Odyssey/18401/ https://www.blu-ray.com/The-Devils-Backbone/34439/ https://www.blu-ray.com/I-Saw-the-Devil/28708/ Last edited by Evil; 05-22-2019 at 04:23 AM. |

I used to be able to show just the BDs I haven't watched in my collection view and sort them however I wanted. Now, when I view 'Not Watched' I see my wishlist BDs as well. (After Amazon forced us to make a wishlist.) How do I see just my 'owned', and 'not watched' (or new), BDs?
Thanks to 'Evil' for redirecting me here. To quote: "Seems odd that Wishlist titles aren't even separated into their own category in the Not Watched section." |

Would it be possible to add a sort by a my rating option, if rated by the individal member, within ones collection or would that be far too taxing on the site to do that?
Either via the drop down menu choices or the search collection options within a persons collection. Actually, site wide would be useful also. Say, for example, I wanted to look under all Criterion releases and sort them by my personal rating. |
