Improvements to PS3 Trophies

I really love the new PS3 trophy system and Im happy Sony made it, but heres some feedback for them, hopefully I can get enough agrees with me, that i can e-mail them this thread and get some geniune imput over to their team.

Sony, here are some improvements,suggestions and concerns about the current Trophy system

1. Don't allow Downloadable Content as a way for Devs to try and rip off Trophy Collectors.

Here is my complaint, I have 3 PSN games that support trophies: Eden, SSHD and PAIN. All 3 retail for $9.99 on the PSN store. Now when I purchase Eden I have the full game and have the full package to get all the trophies, which is fair. Now with PAIN, the $9.99 download only allows me to get around half the trophies. Then there are some trophies that I need to buy an amusement park add-on with and others that i need to buy an add-on character to acheive. Thats taking advantage of the consumer and it should not be allowed.

There is a specific amount of trophies a PSN game can have, the original game (no DLC) should always have the same number of trophies that a similar priced game has. If a developer wants to make DLC for their product, let them add even more trophies to the game, as the game has now exceeded its original price and the consumer is paying more.

2. Encourage Devs to use the direct PS3-to-Youtube feature you developed. This is an excellent tool for users to explain to others how to acheive certain, difficult to get trophies.

3. Ban platnium trophies simply being "get all the other trophies". You didn't do anything in the game that another trophy already reward you for with the current system.

4. Make it mandatory that all games after "X" date have trophies. I know there are rumors that Sony has demanded that all 09 games have this, but nothing official has been said to my knowledge.

5. Make it mandatory that all developers create 3-D rendered trophies for the same acheivements as 2-D trophies for an easy transition to the HOME trophy room. 2-D trophy collectors should not lose all their acheivements when HOME comes out.

6. Ban trophies that require players to spend money on extra perephials, unless the trophy is part of a game that requires that periphial.

Example of something thats acceptable: Eye of Judgement, Eyetoy games.

Example of something thats not acceptable: Use the PS3 Eyetoy to take a picture of yourself and put it in X game that requires no Eyetoy to play through.

7. Ban stupid, meaningless trophies. Yeah, Im looking at you "Fly into your own Proximity Mine". Having trophies like that, simply makes the system a joke and adds absolutely nothing to the game. Ive also read about some Japanese dowload that you hit "X" a bunch and get trophy for going through articles.

8. Ban trophies that require a user to purchase another game for the game he is trying to acheive a trophy in.

Example: Import a NCAA draft class in Madden. I shouldn't have to buy NCAA to achieve Madden trophies.
