Default Disney Steels

Does anyone know or know how to find out if Zavvi are ever looking to fill in the blanks with the Steelbook classics?

I think, apart from ones not on blu Ray, it’s:

Fun and fancy free
Ichabod and mr toad
Oliver and co
Winnie the Pooh
Home on the range

Is that all that’s missing? It does my head in I can’t complete the set!!

Also sorry if this is in the wrong place....

I can't see any of those getting SteelBook releases, other than Pooh. Still, stranger steels have been released.

Oliver wouldn’t be a bad shout too I think but just nippy overall, and I missed Fantasia 2000 off the list!

I am finally done with steelbooks. I opened my Captain America: The First Avenger 4k steelbook and dent on front and bottom. I'll exchange that tomorrow at BB but I thought I got the best one there and it had 2 dents. My last 2 DC animated steelbooks have been dented and I got stuck with them when there's none to exchange them for. Too many dented steelbooks for the price that they charge especially Disney/Marvel/Lucasfilm steels.

Yea I stopped with steelbooks as well. Tired of dealing with damage that I cant see because it is hidden behind the j-card etc.

Always get my BB steelbooks through the mail and have never had one dented.

Does anyone know how to order from game.co.uk for shipping to the US. I want to order a game but every time I enter my phone number it tells me is not valid.

Default MCU 4K Steelbook new/re-releases?

So what do you think the chances are that Best Buy will do a re-release/redo of past Steelbooks now that they’re releasing them all in a matching set? I’m thinking releases like Black Panther, GOTG2, and Ant Man and the Wasp, specifically. And I guess Captain Marvel as well, even though that one was just released, but doesn’t quite go with the scheme of the Cap/Iron Man/Avengers releases.

I think they will but after all the ones that don't have 4K releases get done. It was being discussed in some of the other marvel steelbook threads. Unless Disney convinces Universal, it's unlikely we'll get a matching Hulk steelbook though. All the others will probably come at some point. To make all match they need to do:
Black Panther
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2
Ant-Man & Wasp
Thor Ragnarok
Spider-Man Homecoming
Captain Marvel
The Incredible Hulk

Chances should be high because Di$ney but:

- Captain America 4K steelbooks are not going anywhere
- Plenty of stores have several Avengers 4K steelbooks available
- Black Panther took months to sell
- Captain Marvel is flooding stores and not moving at all

Their main issue seem to be the high volume they send to the stores. I thought they learned from The Force Awakens but nope, they insist on mass producing these and ask $35 a pop. Seems crazy to me but I am crazy enough to keep buying them, lol.

I’m wanting to pull the trigger on upgrading my MCU to 4k, but I’m back and forth on going the Steelbook route. I was glad to see the Avengers boxed set so I don’t have to try and track down Infinity War for $100+, but I’m wary about having to do the same with all the above-mentioned titles. Decisions, decisions.

And yeah, f’in Hulk man.

Just recently decided to steel my MCU movies. Only one I'm missing now are Ragnarok, Black Panther, GotGv2, and yeah... f'in Hulk...

My plans for Hulk are to get the fye Bluray steelbook and swap out the inner tray to hold 2 disks.

I paid $9.99 for the 4K last year. I will keep my set with a mint slip and just add the FYE steelbook. I just added more shelf space so I'm good with having multiple releases.

Yeah, I dont have nearly enough shelf space. 80% of my blurays are in paper sleeves in locking drawers.

The real problem is that they're producing way too many copies and won't allow them to go lower than $30 each. If they'd just produce maybe half as many and drop the price to $20 after a month or two then they'd fly off the shelves.

I agree with this. 35 bucks is way to expensive for steelbooks. I don't care if its 4k. if Marvel Steels went down to 20 after a month id buy them

I wish the re-releases in 4K were not 34.99. I wish they did a phase one and phase 2 4K steel boxset (not stacked) but a la Harry Potter.

I wish that if they were 4K releases that they would be $22.99 like Spiderman was.
