So don't say your significant other, or your dog, or your bonsai tree.
But what's that one thing you just can't get rid of, or if your house was on fire, and your family/pets were safe, what's the one thing you'd go back in to save? I admit I started this thread just to see what other peoples' answers were, because I don't really have anything to list as an example for myself. I'm fairly young, so I imagine over time I might gather more stuff that I'll attach some value to, but right now I don't care too much about throwing/giving things away. A few things that come close (that I probably won't part with): -my piano (I still have the same piano I had as a kid, and I imagine I'll keep taking it with me wherever I go/move) -a bottle of sand from Iraq (after graduating from high school, I went off to college, and my best friend went off to the Marines; a few months later he was off to Iraq, and he randomly sent me a small bottle filled with sand one day, which I still keep on my desk) |
