Dollar Tree Movies

2 of my locations still have solar lights in the bin, nothing new in electronics either

Took a drive to my closest store, which I knew wouldn't have anything and didn't, but was hoping to find some decent books. Nada! Then I drove past my "good" store. Still Halloween solar flares up front. I didn't bother coming down. It's possible there's a giant reset in Electronics/Automotive, but I doubt it because this store has had everything up front for the best several waves, and it started pouring rain.

If there's an Item of the Week after solar flares, as someone posted, it will be interested to see if the movies come after that or end up being dumped in Electronics/Automotive next week when the flares are replaced as IotW.

I went to another store tonight that I called earlier and they had put some new stuff out.

No real interesting blurays beyond what's been mentioned (this one had far fewer than the other store). I did grab a spare copy of Shock Wave for a friend and they also had 2-3 copies of Marine 4 which has been rare in this area in previous sales.

The movie I was most excited to get was The Walk (DVD + Digital copy). The digital copy looks to redeem in SD in MA; not sure if it will redeem as HD in Vudu or not -- anyone know how to test?

Other DVDs I grabbed were:

I'm hoping some of that stuff ends up in my area. I'd definitely grab the Shark Divers bluray as well as the Krull and DC Lego Brain Drain DVDs.

I'm watching the Monster Movie Mix now. One of the films (Let it Rain) stars Ronald Reagan and Cloris Leachman (it's a General Electric theater short). It has a GE infomercial in the middle that's quite fascinating and briefly covers the evolution of their TV sets at that time (from 1920's to the 1950's).

I don't know if this is asking to much from everyone; however, it may help Spootnek if we included either a picture or an actor who appears in a film for those in which there are multiple movies. That way they don't need to ask every time what version of a film it is.

I think they are being very generous by keeping track of all of these copies in the one post.

Anything we can do to make it easier on them would probably be helpful to them.

Guys, Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist is a really fun/good flick worth a dollar.

I’d be over all DT’s finding it had I not have it in my collection.

Thats the luck I have lol. Every time I buy a movie from a place other than a thrift shop or pawn shop I always find it dirt cheap not long after. The most recent one was the House Party 4 movie collection. I paid $10 for it cause I had a gift card and figured why not. A few days later, not even a week, I find it in mint condition for .50 at a pawn shop lol.

I've seen it at Dollar General several times around here, but this is the first time it's shown up at Dollar Tree. It certainly seems like while there's a few common titles in this Dollar Tree sale, there's a lot of titles that seem more like one-offs.

Beware the Batman is pretty cool imo. I was watching it when it aired on TV, but it lasted only 1 season, which they split into 2 releases. I'm not very knowledgeable about Batman villains, but this show seemed to focus on ones not covered in most of the movies.

Barely any Blu-Rays. Only new DVDs (such as Yoga Hosers).
