Our highest sub apprecance this season is Belleti!
its ok, u have the best player on the planet back on your team now. why is essien so good. it should be against the law to be that good. i envy you for not having anyone his caliber.

I agree, essian is a machine and can run until the sun comes down. Not a player you hear alot about but he does is job and does it good.

hey guys!!

its been a while, i havent been hiding because of villa fall, just been busy i guess!!

we really are going the wrong way and liverpool and man u away our next two games! arsenal are looking good now, they have to be favourites for 4th.

shane chelsea are flying now! great win over Juve over the 2 legs! I agree with all the posts about Essien or Bison as is his nick name... an amazing talent.

Viper, what can I say. 8 goals against real and man u in week, what odds would you have got for that! fantastic! BUT is it too late? I still think the league will be won by Man U. It will be interesting to see who you get in the CL draw on Friday.

B0bby... I'd say you were sick on Saturday.. Thumped in your own back yard by the arch enemy.. but you can still sing "Champions of England! Champions of Europe!"

The above chant does my head in.. they must go on for 20 minutes!!

Yes mate, we are doing really well.. we didnt play well on sunday but we got the job done, and we held the defence together.
Big game on saturday though, Spurs are always a threat.. especially with the rivalry between us!

What can be said about Villa? you were doing so bloody well.. and since your exit from Europe it seems to have gone down hill, but if your gonna get back on track who better do it against then lpool or united!

Okay now that I've slightly recovered from the huge loss last Saturday I think I can join the fun here once again.

Credit to Liverpool for their performance at OT. Both Chelsea and Liverpool are now on a roll and this should make an interesting title race.

Moving forward, I have faith in SAF that he will do whatever is necessary to make sure a disaster like this won't happen again. We are still ahead and there is still enough time to regroup. Can't wait to see how the guys will do at Fulham this weekend.

i watched that entire game vs spurs. i know your fans hate agbonlahor but i've been on him his whole career. he's not national team material at all, not a good finisher, just speed. i like villa, their a decent team to watch but way too predictable giving the ball to young all the time. he cant really win games for them all the time. he was burning the rightback but his finishing passes were bad.

personally if villa fall out of the top 4 i would love for everton to make a push and get in. not much of an arsenal fan so id love to see them drop out of CL and everton make it.

The great question is.. as great as Villa and Everton are.. would they even get past the group stages? it's a very very tough competition!

Well we're at the Lane and United, Liverpool and l'Arse didn't beat us, and like you say Spurs - Chelsea is almost as important as Spurs - Arsenal!

We'll see though, both teams are in good form, I think the key will be whether you guys can shut Lennon down or not, he is in awesome form atm...

i don't know about villa but i would really like to see how everton does. im a big arteta/cahill/howard supporter and with a full squad with arteta/cahill/pienaar/yakuba/fellani/jo/jagielka/lescott getting some experience i think they will make it out of the group stages. it also depends who they get drawn with. they won't survive any "group of death" type of groups. i mean do you think they would give up 12 goals like sporting lisbon? i don't but then again fringe teams like fiorentina that got in the CL didn't do much either. im hoping that if a team like villa or everton do get the last spot they atleast show a respectable CL campaign.

Meanwhile, former Blues manager Jose Mourinho is lining up a £100m raid on the Premier League, with Chelsea striker Didier Drogba, Arsenal midfielder Abou Diaby, Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas and Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic thought to be on his wish list at Inter Milan. (Daily Mirror)
Real Madrid are keen to take David Beckham back to the club in the summer and may pay Los Angeles Galaxy £10m for the 33-year-old England midfielder, who is currently on loan at AC Milan. (The Sun)
Liverpool and Manchester City are both lining up bids for Chelsea defender Michael Mancienne. (The Times)
Relegation-threatened Newcastle United have put their contract negotiations with striker Michael Owen on hold until their league status is determined. (The Times)
Everton are keeping tabs on Deportivo La Coruna's 26-year-old midfielder Juan Rodriguez. (Daily Mirror)
Aston Villa are considering a move for Anderlecht midfielder Mbark Boussofa. (Daily Star)
Burnley striker Ade Akinbiyi is wanted by Major League Soccer side Houston Dynamo. (Daily Star)
Portsmouth winger Glen Little, who is on loan at Reading, says he will not return to Fratton Park next season. (Daily Mail)
Former West Ham and Tottenham striker Frederic Kanoute, who currently plays for Sevilla, says he could be on the verge of return to the Premier League. (The Independent)
Manchester City manager Mark Hughes is set for a summer clear-out, with Dietmar Hamann, Darius Vassell, Elano, Michael Ball and Benjani all likely to be offloaded. (The Guardian)

Dundee United have taken Spanish goalkeeper Alberto Marrama on trial. (Daily Mail)

Sheffield United manager Kevin Blackwell has been told he will not be given the compensation windfall from the Carlos Tevez saga to buy players. (Daily Mirror)
Leeds chairman Ken Bates may sue West Ham over the Carlos Tevez affair, claiming a loss of earnings on three players from Elland Road that were sold to the Blades. Matthew Kilgallon, Rob Hulse and Ian Bennett had clauses in their contracts entitling Leeds to a windfall had the players stayed in the Premier League. (Daily Express)

absolutely. The whip was more towards the 'onward', as in 'get moving' ... not the score...certainly not that. But at the end of the day, that was the final score and I'll take it.

Film nights for the anfield stars hahaha. Bet they're into blu too

As for vidic, inter has more chance of getting Obama to play in his defence.
