$20 Amazon Gift Card to be emailed at the end of the season

Winner Payouts:
-1st place (winner of Championship game) gets 7 cards (really 6 emailed since no one paid upfront)
-2nd place (loser of Championship game) gets 3 (really 2)
-3rd place (consolation game winner) gets 1 (doesn't owe one)
-Most total points in the regular season gets 1 (doesn't owe one)

OK it's about that time again, i would like to extend the offer to those who participated last year as we had a good bunch of owners and they should get first dibs IMO. Here is the standings from last season, i will eventually work on sending out some pm's to those that might miss this post to see who is in.

Im thinking either cbs or yahoo, might research what a pay to play type format might run also.

We have plenty of time to research and make the right choice, thats why i wanted to get this started so early.

I've been in a Fantasy League for that last 4 yrs. All for NFL as well as 2 for NHL. The group I go up against uses Yahoo. It is excellent, stable and user friendly. Just a suggestion, but friends/family all like it a lot.

I would also suggest using Yahoo. I've used it for the past 5 or so years, and have never had a problem with it. Another site some guys at my work use is a place called fantrax. They use it for their AL only MLB fantasy league, and it seems to work pretty well from what I've heard and it's free. Just a suggestion.

Also, if you're looking for another player I'd be interested. I'm not that active on the boards here, but for something like this I'd totally be in for

Is there usually a Pick'em Pool around these parts as well? I would be down for that as well if there is.

Also just to let those know who did not participate in it last year, this is a money league, not a for fun one. Once me and schultzy figure out who is in or out we will post something up to let all of you know who are looking to get in.

As for what service to use i have no problems with yahoo, though if we want live scoring we will each be paying for it. I believe it is about 15.00 for the year, i also think we could upgrade the league to the plus format which would run us 125.00 bucks for the season which includes the stat tracker and a few other perks. The cbs one i believe has a free stat ticker but lacks many options that their pay service one uses. I will be looking into it more to see what options we have.

I would definitely like to be in it even if it is a pay league. The statracker for yahoo is 9.99 and if you are in multiple leagues it will work for all of them. Also, if you are in a league with someone you know and trust you can just log in under their info and load the statracker sunday morning and it will be open all day even if you sign back into your yahoo id.

So if you guys need another person I am on this site constantly so i will be an eager and willing participant.

If there are spots open, consider me a person of interest.

As for the live stat tracker, it's up to you as an idividual to pay for it. I never do, as the rules are pretty simple so I track mine and my opponents scores myself.

I won myself a universal remote (what I used the monetary prize on) and a new video game (from EA, which gave a prize to all winners of their leagues)...

And I gotta thank you guys for paying for my Harmony One remote and giving me one of the best games I've ever played in Medal of Honor: Airborne.
