Finally decided to watch Predator in 4K tonight (bought it over a year ago).
Best I have ever seen it look. However the sound gave me a bit of a jump at about the 1hr:07m:42s mark there was an almighty pop coming from the front speakers. I was playing it with the DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track. I pressed rewind and played it again (with the volume reduced this time) and it was still there. I replayed the same spot with the DTS-HD Master Audio 4.0 track selected and it was ok with that option. Wish I had watched the whole film with the 4.0 instead as apparently according to a user reviewer here... it is better. Does anyone here know if there is a confirmed fault with the disc? The pop was pretty loud, worried about my speakers getting damaged because of things like this happening unexpected. |
