Possibly. Guess I’ve been living on an island with the assumption that it was quite the opposite. And I admire the campiness of Moore’s run, with all the wink to the camera moments. It’s fun to see. I just never expected some of those “cheesier” efforts to be held in such high regard especially against the Connery and Dalton ones.

The fact that the votes are this high against Casino Royale are strangely impressive alone since all I’ve been hearing since Craig’s sequels are “Casino Royale this, and Casino Royale that.” Which is also where I differ because I find Skyfall and Spectre to be superior (and License to Kill as well). But that’s a story for a different round.
