Just bought this 4K set for $10 on Prime Sale. I was really hesitant because I only liked the first movie but I forgot I had a extra $10 Prime Day coupon so overall I am pleased.

Reading the honest reviews from this site, I learned the 4K mastering is not worth the purchase and I had a case of buyers remorse and cancelled my $10 order of this set. When JP gets a well deserved 4K mastering, I will buy that one. Thanks everyone.

I was originally planning on getting the 5 film 4K collection but was hesitant since I already had Fallen Kingdom in 4K. Given I ended up getting this set for $16.39 (had some Amazon rewards) this deal worked out perfect.

The World films look amazing in 4K and TLW is pretty darn solid too.

But Uni totally dropped the ball with 1 & 3. They can look soooooo much better.

Do the digital codes in the 25th anniversary (4-movie) set redeem in UHD? Just want to verify. Been burned by a few UHD Blu-rays recently that came with only HD codes.

The 5 movie Steelbook collection is UHD only. Not sure about any regular edition of that. The 4 movie editions of the UHD all also had BDs. Have to check which BDs were used.

Doubt it. How often do major studios master a movie twice on the same format? Especially with the last one having come out just two years ago. They will probably just repackage it.

In the U.S., your best bet is to get the set that has the five movies in extra thin cases in a slipbox, keep the first movie and sell the rest.

At least it doesn't have the ridiculous scene from JP2 where a 75lb girl gymnastic kicks a 750lb lizard like it was a beach ball. That scene breaks my immersion every time, so damn stupid. Even as a kid, when watching Lost World for the first time I thought that scene was silly.

The scene never bothered me. I didn't know until YouTube and forums that people hated it.
