I'm sure there are some awful people that lie but most of the time it's probably true. I've sold about a hundred dvds in the last year and only two of them never showed up, so it could have been worst I tell myself. :P

I politely ask the buyer to be patient, copy/pasted Canada Posts Yellow level alert and ask to wait for a week or 2. Normally I wouldn't mind a refund, it sucks but it happens, but currently i have 3 open claims today alone and 2 other that messaged me yesterday. Usually i'd take the hit and move on, but thats 5 potential claims of 25$ on average. One of them claimed he hasn't received the item I sent and is asking for a refund when i sent it last Tuesday... that's 7 days ago (5 if you dont count the week ends) ... that's just ridiculous, they expect Amazon level shipping for a 20$ with free shipping. Even amazon is struggling to keep up with demands and on time delivery these days, so imagine how Canada Post is doing !
