You realize these spots are advertising the trailer drop, right?

Which is insanely stupid and downright frustrating. Why do trailers need their own teasers these days? We've been waiting 19 months now. Sunday can't get here soon enough.
It's like you're starving and a feast is awaiting you but they just keep giving you small spoonfulls. Just makes the hunger worse.

The movie is a very short time away. At this point they are ramping up the marketing to 11 to make up for lost time.

I'm not the least bit surprised. And I'm loving every bit of it.

The only nitpick I have against this, rewatching GKOFM is that anamorphic doesn't work on this. I think Del Toro had the right idea with 1.78 for Pacific Rim, the wide shorts lose a lot of the scale of the kaijus, because the shot's are wider (due to lenses) and also composition.

I just hope that we get some good character build up for the first hour so as we care about them later in the movie. I also hope that there's some good cut away scenes to the humans during the big fight scenes. There's nothing worse than watching huge monsters fighting and the film doesn't let us know how the humans are surviving

You're the only one I've ever seen asking for cutaway scenes from the fight scenes...too many of those in the first 2 Godzilla films as it is.
