Thanks to HBOMax, I will actually see it, which was up in the air after confirming the ridiculousness of the scaling between Kong and G from the investor preview.

But hey, I really enjoyed K:SI, and after KOTM, this film has nowhere to go but up.

If so, I'll be pleasantly surprised as opposed to mildly disappointed.

And all because Legendary and others had to put Gareth Edwards through the ringer instead of letting him drive the franchise.

At least his new film is something to look forward to.

They should just drop the trailer now, it's pointless to hold on to a trailer when there's tons of TV spots airing.
