Watched Taza son of Cochise. Excellent almost full screen, color 3D. The movie was also pretty good for the time. Being in Oklahoma which means Redman and home to the Indian Nations and where Geronimo died the movie is close to home. I ducked when the arrows came out of the screen.

This is playing from a backup on my media server, but sounds like the same problem so may also work for the disc.
Hi ry

You're lucky. I cannot even pause the disc. Only chapter skip.

Just watched Avengers Infinity War once again.

What can be said about this that has already been put down in words? Anybody who would see this in 3D would no longer put this format down.

Note: originally said I watched "end game". Wrong entry but same thoughts. LOL

It’s pretty good isn’t it, shame the 3D doesn’t have Atmos but it’s no slouch anyway.

I have only 5.1 so no difference to me. The surrounds did get a lot of action. Including behind and sides. My bipolar surrounds had a workout.

Ordered it from Amazon and will get here Thursday.

I hope you mean Amazon DE (Germany). Amazon US does not carry the 3D version. I did use the non-3D image as I could not locate the 3D image.

If you got the 2D it is not a bad movie but the 3D is what this is all about. Maybe you can cancel if you got the wrong one.

I should also note that the steel book from Amazon DE that I have does not have English subtitles on it and is Region B.

Hopefully this does not catch you out. I can see in hindsight I should have searched harder for the 3D image. Sorry if that confuses anyone.

German version (NOT an auto-convert - native 3D):

There are ways to combine the audio from one with the 3D of the other. I have done that with Gravity to get 3D and Atmos. But that is for another thread/forum.

Sorry if I lead anyone astray.

Can you confirm that there is NO English language voice soundtrack?

Tibetan Illusion Destroyer 3D

This is an hour long documentary on the Mani Rimdu Festival in Nepal. It is a well made documentary with strong visuals. This is an odd duck blu-ray format. It is 1280 x 720p (60 hz). It plays in my bluray player but some may have playback issues. My PC does not like the format as well as my player - fyi. The introduction to the festival has archive footage not in 3D. They do a good job of layering a 3D matt and also superimposing images. Clever actually. Thankfully this is just a short section at the front. What follows is some amazing 3D with bright vibrant colors and strong before the plane 3D. Some of the dancing midway thru had the dancers seemingly in front of my TV. This documentary was obviously shot with a native high quality 3D camera albeit in a 720p format. The 3D strength and imagery make this a great 3D experience. Some of the strongest 3D I own. Loved the nature imagery as well. If you like documentaries and strong 3D - this one is a good fit.

US 2D has english dub and subtitles. The 3D version I have from Germany is Region B with NO English subtitles or dub. I added my own English .srt subtitles but you have to have a player that supports external subtitles. I use my PC. This is off-topic so PM me for more info.

Going thru my big DDD house Christmas order, last night I watched

Outstanding art direction and 3D , I know it gets a lot of respect here, BUT

it had to be the most obnoxious movie I've ever seen. Like Jim Carrey on speed. I couldn't take it. Skipped to the end and liked the water fight, had it not been for that final battle, I'd be selling it. After reading the thread, I'm hesitant to watch the Mermaid, bc it was said it has the same slapstick approach, which was not obvious to me in the trailer...

Bummer. Haven't watched those yet, but all three Monkey King movies are the same way. Especially the first. Excellent visuals though.
