I wonder what abilities humans would develop if our evolution wasn't fueled by creating and maintaining civilizations. Would we return to monke, or become the most advanced predator on the planet? What would we look like? What would we war over, or would we even need/want to? What would our art look like? I think about these things sometimes, being in a primal state feels more natural.

Dunno. Maybe. Maybe it's just dirt. In any case, it's all over the inside vent. Looks like I'm going to have to take apart the entire front panel to get in there and clean it up. I'm not good at this.

when Ikea finally has the AlDIS legs in stock its only black or white. They seem to have gotten rid of the silver. I so really wanted the silver legs.

well we all know in the past I had complain about my eyelids esp left so called floppy eye mess can't open them good snd them not closing when I go to sleep in past pics of me esp high school graduation my left eye was great something happen over the years make it weaker

i'm finally going down Vanderbilt tomorrow going to see a doctor I have no idea what they will say my question is if I have to get eye raised surgey do you think I should get a laser surgey for my eyes so don't have to wear glasses anymore or what

It's such a chore to buy LED bulbs for various sized ceiling cans with all my needs packaged into one bulb.

So my desktop works, it was just really filthy and my brother cleaned it out so it works, it seems. He says he's going to double my RAM and upgrade my hard drive on Monday, hopefully it's a good SSD so this 5 year old thing will keep on trucking for years to come.

All the chinese buffets in my area are getting worse. Their food selections suck now. From what I know, we had 4 chinese buffets in the area, and 2 dine-in chinese places, but the buffet in the popular mall closed for good, so now we only have 3. Went to the most popular and busiest one yesterday for dinner and it was very underwhelming. They usually have 4 buffet sections of food but one was shut off/empty so the selection was more limited. Definitely not worth the $15-16 per person.

One thing I miss the most living here is we don't have a Chinese restaurant close by. Theres actually a buffet nearby but the food there sucked when my Love&I tried it so we doubt we'll be back. Besides im fairly certain they didnt have a takeout menu either. We think the next closest to us is 45min away, that's too far for takeout imo. Back in NY it seemed like we had one in every town, and for the most part the food was good and competitively priced.

It sucks. This town mostly only has the national chain fast food. I guess one good thing about that is we'll keep our food bill down and eat more sensibly at home.

We literally have two Chinese buffets right beside each other. The one I went to last night doesn't have takeout but you can go in and fill up a styrofoam tray and pay by the weight.

If you dine in, you're pretty much guaranteed to see a lot of trashy people and crying kids though. But it's nice if you need a quick place to eat between a double feature at the nearby movie theatre.

I miss all the Asian food places in the Minneapolis suburb areas. Very cheap food and cooked as you order and delicious.

We also have 6 McDonalds here and after the movie I wanted a sweet tea but the McDs across the movie theatre had two huge drive-thru lines so we went to Wendy's and they also had a huge line that was barely moving (this was at 10:30pm) so we drove to the next McDs and it was okay but as soon as we got there a bunch of cars pulled in behind us.

Not sure if low staffing is affecting these fast food places but it's a mess.
