Was Dark Force unable or unwilling to work on Death Rage's transfer? It's horribly washed out even some basic color correction would have made up a little for the actual print damage

Wow that's really something. Would be my most anticipated Dark Force release yet.

Making this announcement would lead one to believe they have rights to release it on disc, but this doesn't actually mention that any physical release is coming. Just that they found a film print.

DARK FORCE NEW RELEASE ANNOUNCEMENT:
We wanted to correct some previous information on this release as the one we have is NOT the documentary but rather the 1980 art film directed by Ulli Lommel and starring Carole Bouquet, Richard Hell, Ulli Lommel and Andy Warhol. We are currently creating a new Hi-Def master from the only surviving pristine 35mm safety print that is uncut and runs 79 minutes. The movie is shot exceptionally and the restoration is looking great. We will have more updates on the fast moving Dark Force new release so stay tuned: DARKFORCESUPERSTORE.COM
