India/Bollywood Chandni Chowk to China

I have read rumerous that CC2C would be released soon. Any news? It is already listed in amazon.com but without a release date.

The release rate of Indian movies is painfully slow. It is really frustrating ...

I expect Indian studios will experience a slowdown of DVD sales. I can think of two key reasons.

1. Low quality pirated DVDs sold for couple of dollars.
2. When people upgrade to HD they would see the problems with pirated DVDs and stop purchasing DVDs until blu-rays are available to play on their newly acquired blu-ray players.

I am glad to see that Ayngaran is preparing for this changeover. It could be too late when Bollywood realises the problem as it takes some time to release a large catalogue on blu-ray. The behaviour of Yash Raj is unbelievable - they seem to be lacking any strategy for the future growth.
