Default HOME - A Stunning Visual Portrayal of Earth 6/5/09

Noticed not much talk about this recently released BD but if you thought "Planet Earth" looked gorgeous...the blu-ray for "HOME" is definitely worth it!

It was featured on YouTube on Thursday night I believe in its entirety.

My wife preferred "Planet Earth" because of the focus on the animals but I felt "HOME" is much more deeper in narrative as the pacing really sets the viewer up for some major scenery for the second half of the film.

With quite a few BD's that have shown us the beauty of the planet, it was also good to have another BD that shows us beauty but also the man-made destruction of the planet and the visuals of that. Definitely an eye opener.

Unfortunately, no special features included. Narration is by Glenn Close. Awesome job by aerial photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand.
