I don't feel like I am missing a great deal at the moment, but I'm holding off some games until I do get a PS5. With the exception of Gran Turismo 7 which has been entertaining.

I bought an Xbox Series X last week because Wal-Mart had it in stock for over a while and I bought 2 years of GPU with the Gold to Ultimate upgrade. I am keeping an eye open to buy a PS5 now to get it as soon as I can find one. Still, playing Forza Horizon 5 or some of the other games that were enhanced for "next-gen," it is clear that this gen has not been fully utilized.

Developers likely had to stop working on Next Gen games to for a while. Although I wouldn't mind seeing a difference where the PS5 shows a big difference to the PS4, like the old days of seeing an Arcade game and then a Sega Genesis or SNES port.

Developers did amazing things with the CPU the PS4 had, I believe they can develop amazing things once they fully use the power of the Ryzen CPU, the new GPU and truly develop games around the SSD without any backwards compatibility consider.
Bishop, congratulations on finding an XBSX! That's cool and lucky too if MS keeps Bethesda and other companies' games all for the XB and not for Sony.

But I agree, the PS5, currently at this time, is like the next version, the PS4 Pro 2.0 released in November 2020. Faster loading, 60 fps and 4K with raytracing features! Aside from that, the games still feel like PS4 games but enhanced with the PS4 Pro 2's power/PS5.

Good points about the days when the differences were drastic between generations. Now things have advanced so far graphically with the PS4 era, that the PS5 doesn't have very far to go. The artists and developers were already great for PS4, which was a very capable console.
