I can generally tell by watching a trailer if I am not going to enjoy something. If I cannot make it through the first episode I am done. Then I am onto the next item in the queue.

Not going to waste my time on rubbish, or anything I would deem the worse thing in recorded history. If that is what others want to do so be it.
