I can generally tell by watching a trailer if I am not going to enjoy something. If I cannot make it through the first episode I am done. Then I am onto the next item in the queue.

Not going to waste my time on rubbish, or anything I would deem the worse thing in recorded history. If that is what others want to do so be it.

I mean, yeah, filmed entertainment isn't meant to be some kind of self-torture device where you make yourself miserable by continuing to watch things that really don't make you feel happy -- but if that's what others want to do with their precious time on earth, well, so be it.

You know what I say, if they can do better then prove it. Get a camera and a crew and churn out that masterpiece.

I feel bad for Jodie. I think it's a mistake on her part to leave at the same time as Chibnall. If she stayed on with another producer even for one season, she would have the opportunity to redeem her interpretation of the character. And thus would show whether it was Chibnall or her that tanked the show.

For me, it was the most fun I've ever had watching Doctor Who, by far, so I don't agree with anyone "tanking" anything by any stretch of the imagination. For me the whole show was absolutely brilliant. Sorry others didn't enjoy it as much as I did.

Sure, the doctor cut off the wrong leg, gave me a vasectomy and sold numerous spare organs on the black market, but I've never performed a hip replacement operation myself so I can't complain.

Per the mandate of the internet bylaws, when you have no real response go to the ridiculous end of extreme.

And expecting people who don't like the direction a show they've watched in many cases for decades is taking to go out and make their own TV shows isn't extreme?

Indeed. That type of argument is not only ridiculous but lazy.

As horrible as the Chib era was the future looks to be equally as bad.

The return of Russell T Davies and a new Doctor already very skilled at navigating the line between drama and comedy. Could be fantastic!
