Coming August 9th from CODE RED & Kino Lorber!

Maid in Sweden (1971)
• Brand New 2K Master
• Theatrical Trailer
• Optional English Subtitles

Color 80 Minutes 1.66:1 Rated R
Cult-film starlet Christina Lindberg (Thriller: A Cruel Picture, Anita: Swedish Nymphet) shines in this erotic coming-of-age story. When young Inga (Lindberg), a country milkmaid, visits her emancipated libertine sister in the big city of Stockholm, her innocence shatters. Possessing a luminous beauty and the proclivity to disrobe at the drop of a hat, she discovers sex for the first time and is forever changed by the harshness of her exposure to life. Some girls only dream about it…but Inga makes her deep sexual dreams come true in this steamy ’70s classic now in eye-popping HD!

Is Goldengirl lighthearted? Love the cover and would think of giving it a spin.

Wow! Susan Anton! Anyone else remember her TV show "Cliffhangers"? That's something I'd love to see again...

I love Kino, Scorpion and Code Red to death. The CR/Scorpion Studio Canal and Universal picks were great as were most of the MGM ones, but would Dagmar's Hot Pants and Maid in Sweden really outsell other missing in action MGM titles such as Three In The Attic or Matchless which could have been chosen?

Already knew I would be in for this. Then I read this review and realized I am definitely in for this made-for-cable-TV cheesefest:

Never heard of it, but High Desert Kill is a top-tier movie name.

Watched Cliffhangers when it aired. They finished the Dracula story and then it was cancelled so they never aired the last episode in North America which finished the other 2 stories. I found out awhile ago, that the last episode was aired over seas. I found all of the episodes (including the last unaired episode) on youtube and watched all of them again. The first episode already started a few chapters in and I thought the episodes were misnamed/out of order so I checked and found out that they made that way. They edited the some of Dracula episodes together to make a movie version (there's 2 different versions and I only found one of them). I also found out that they also made a 'movie' on the Susan Anton story which concludes it. I haven't tried to find that either.

As far Matchless is concerned, we've looked into it a few times, but similar releases have been bad to very bad performers for us. Code Red was interested in No. 1 of the Secret Service (1977), but decided to drop it at the last minute.

I've wanted No. 1 of the Secret Service for a long time. I hope it becomes available someday.

I fell asleep reading this thread earlier. I dreamt we were all in the audience at a press conference and KLI was answering our questions about future releases.

And then everyone's ascots began eating their heads.

The dream was about the stock market.

I would buy No. 1 of the Secret Service in a heartbeat, one of my most wanted titles! Years ago, every time I found a VHS of it, it sold immediately.

You would also buy Matchless, but unfortunately we need at least a couple of thousand people to buy it to make it work.

Understandable, but I still think THREE IN THE ATTIC with the soundtrack would perform well enough.
