Default Hello PPL

1st I have to say I have been "Spying" on this site for awhile trying to get as much information as I could on buying the Next gerneration DVD player, I was undecided for so long that I almost lost intrest and on fathers day this year my Wife went to best buy and talked to a sales person there and shared her conserns about the Format war and who was going to win and all the typical stuff and of course this guy saw my wife coming from a mile away and she wals out of the stor with the LG dual player for 1,300 dollars. When she gave it to me on fathers day I was like WOW but I could not keep it that was way to much of a gift so I took it back and decided that I would get a PS3 and this way I can play the new games and have a BR. (I kind of got long winded there) anyways I started reading this site and learned alot of new things about my choice and by googling alot of what you guys have said/wrote, I have no doubt that I made the right choice, so thatk you.

I do have a quick question if someone doesnt mind answering it. My PS3 is hooked up (HDMI) to my samsung 1080P 50" however my Audio system is Bose lifestyle 28( I know I know alot of ppl dont like bose but it was a house warming gift from my father, and besides I kind of like it) now the PS3 is hoooked up to the Bose Via Optical. my question is, is the the best way to hook up my equipment or is there a better way and 2 whith the setuo do I acually get uncompressed audio or TRUEHD.

Again There are ppl out there like me that find these sites and do learn alot for you guys, like me and the biggest intrest for me was the respect shown to others and not just "banging" on HD DVD and mostly descussing the Blu-ray and what it can do.

Thanks Again
Eric
