As I said in my last comment, there should definitely be a link to your thread in the OP, but if Blu-ray monster does that I don't think there's anything wrong with adding titles from that thread here--it's natural that if people create threads for different genres/subject matter and there's overlap in a venn diagram of the two, there will be duplication. If someone created a "1940s movie on blu-ray" thread would it be wrong of them to use a previous "film noir on blu-ray" thread to help find titles, assuming they linked to it? Or if someone writes a wikipedia article and some of the material in it is relevant to a different article, would it be wrong for a different editor to port over the material? (something that is in fact generally accepted in the wikipedia community, as long as some attribution is given)

When you have a community where people post their research for free for public benefit, I don't think there's any generally-accepted code of manners that says it's wrong for others to reuse/remix that free information for their own projects as long as they give credit and aren't just creating an exact duplicate. And as I said before I don't think this thread will cause your thread to have less views, assuming Blu-ray monster gets it into reasonably complete form (though they haven't added anything to the OP in a week so who knows).
