The biggest obstacle that was preventing the release of "The Wall" was that the band wanted the music to be remixed for both the movie and the album. Search for James Guthrie, the bands music engineer, he has spoken about the the hell the tapes were in.

The tapes for The Wall were falling apart and needed to be baked and Guthrie had to do TWO 5.1 mixes; one for the movie, another for SACD and blu-ray music only releases. Remember that this was a double album.

Good news is apparently he finished a year or two ago. The bad news is like the Criterion Collection; they will hold onto to stuff for years before releasing it.

To be fair the infighting between Roger Waters and David Gilmour can also bring things to screeching halt. But that has persisted since the mid 80's so who knows.

Did the remastered BDs found in the 4K editions receive releases sans 4K discs? That could be a possibility? I would rebuy TGTBTU if it had a remastered version of the extended, using the updated color timing of the 4K.

The Man in the Gray Flannel Suit is a Fox/Disney title, so can't happen unless Disney opens the vaults again. The Mountain Road and The Devil at 4 O'Clock are Sony titles and would also seem unlikely, considering the problems KL's encountered with them.

I was actually going to ask a few days ago when KLI said they were going to be re-releasing some of their old MGM titles whether or not "The Great Train Robbery" and "Sabata" might be included in the titles.

I'm glad to see the "The Great Train Robbery" is one of the titles. I would assume it would the same transfer and package as their previous 2014 release but I would certainly be up to repurchase it if they have a new transfer.
