I can say that Target Circle always offers great discounts on movies, at least, that's what I've noticed. Last week, I managed to grab 'The Lighthouse' and 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3', both in Blu-ray for just $30. I found a discount coupon on DontPayFull of 20% that saved me a few bucks.

Target for a while now has consistently had the worst packaging (either plastic mailers or those form fitting thin cardboard mailers), and my anecdotal experience has also been a lot of busted cases (more than 50%). I’ve basically stopped ordering from them.

Target and Gruv both have a much higher case damage rate than anyone else in my experience. Target returns are easy tho and sometimes they let u keep the messed up disc for your trouble

We haven't had much problem with gruv, outside of a few rewraps, but our gruv orders are usually large enough to get boxed. Target on the other hand... Their media packaging has been worse than buying used from a decent reseller, particularly for small shipments and preorders. I won't bother with their returns unless the case is unsalvageable, though. And even then, I'm tempted to make due, if their system doesn't send us a replacement without requiring return of the original, as half the time the replacement is just as bad anyway, especially for older UHD releases.

Target, seems to have some weird issue with either the cardboard sandwich envelopes they use or the way they seal them where the top 1" of the slipcover gets pulled out and subsequently crushed in shipping |

I suspect Target simply gets the customer's order, relays the order to Ingram, and Ingram packs and ships. Not that it makes it any better - just that the retailer (and it's not just Target; my few semi-recent Best Buy orders have been similar) is likely just a middleman. |

Scroll up. Most discs are being shipped from the same distribution center for other retailers as well. This isn't even a "Target" problem. Also know that virtually all discs have been manufactured in the same single Mexico plant since the last US plants closed 5 years ago. Scratches have unfortunately been very common ever since.
