I calibrated the V10 today using the DVE disc, and part of it is sharpness adjustment...you pretty much stand close to the tv while displaying this screen and adjust sharpness up until you see artifacts, then dial it down just until they disappear:
![]() I got to 100 with no artifacts, then dropped back to 0 and the apparent 'sharpness' didn't change. However, when I watch satellite programming through another HDMI input, I can see the sharpness adjustment doing something, albeit subtle. Has anyone else with the V10 (or G10/15/another 2009 Panny) done the calibration and noticed this? When I did the 800u, the artifacts were very apparent at a certain point when using the DVE screen, so something is definitely different. |
