I know this is a pretty stupid question, but what exactly is a 12 Volt trigger on a receiver? The model I have doesn't have any, but I see several higher end ones do. I'm guessing it "triggers" whatever is plugged into it to power on/off. Is this correct? If so, what kind of components would you plug into it? Thanks.
