1. They'll send the same discs (probably).
2. They'll send just the first film corrected (better than nothing).
3. They'll all be fixed (I'll be shocked).

But hey, even if it's #1, it hasn't cost me anything, and I'll have another copy to give to a friend. It's worth a try.

Holy s**t, they fixed the discs!!!

Rocky: OG mono restored. Piano is heard now after the bell when Apollo says there won't be a rematch. Now here's something interesting as well - that piano cue is now heard ALSO in the surround mix. To my knowledge, I don't think this has ever been the case, so it APPEARS at least like they took this opportunity to also add in that missing element to the discrete mix as well. Effing awesome.

Rocky II: Correct pitch restored (compared it directly to the old disc - it's definitely fixed).

Rocky III: Foreign language tracks are now the correct pitch.

Rocky IV: The single 1.78:1 shot has been fixed when Rocky is washing the car talking to his son. 1.85:1 for the whole scene now.

I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT BELIEVE they fixed these. Wow.

Everyone needs to contact whv@wbd.com and ask (politely) for replacements, because the problems have been fixed!

You'll need a photo of your receipt. I sent a screenshot of my amazon order and that worked. They did tell me that this email was for North America only, but I'm sure they can point you in the right direction for other countries as well.

Sweet, good news for when they release the comple box set. I never did buy the first four due to the errors but hopefully all of you who did can get the corrected discs. I had to contact WB a few times in the past due to getting duplicate discs and they were always easy to deal with and quick to send out the replacements.

Given the discs are seemingly now fixed, AND they are doing a complete boxed set...I am in now. Will pick up the Rocky 1-6 set in the rumored June time frame. Very happy about this news.

Now fingers crossed we'll hear soon about that rumored Rambo "Ultimate 4K Set".

Was the compression on the encodes fixed? I didn’t buy the first set, but there was a lot of word about how the encode was really bad with lots of blocky artifacts in bright scenes, particularly on Rocky IV. If they didn’t, I’ll still get the complete 6 movie set and it’s awesome that they fixed the other errors.

Edit: he never answered my question because he didn’t actually receive corrected discs. His post above is a copy/paste from Bill Hunt and croweyes1121 did in fact receive the same incorrect discs as before in his FedEx order
