Pre-orders for a 6-film Ultimate Knockout Collection, as well as Rocky V and Rocky Balboa Steelbooks have been listed, with a release date of July 16th 2024. The new collection will include corrected discs for the first 4 movies. Rocky Balboa will include both Theatrical, and Director's Cuts, the latter being 15 minutes longer.

[Show spoiler]A new listing has just shown up at a Canadian distribution site for a Rocky I to VI 4K Collection.. This same site was among the first to post pages for The Departed and Ocean's Trilogy 4K among others. No other details yet, but I'll update the post when I get more info.

This is one set I won't mind rebuying. I actually really like Rocky V and VI

The first four are all great. I haven't seen II in ages but I remember it being very good. III was fun and pretty dramatic too. IV is pretty bonkers but lots of fun. I haven't seen the director's cut of IV yet though, and haven't seen anything after IV.

Guess I should have waited.

Part of me feels like it was money down the drain buying them the first round, but then again, I am a steelbook collector. Hopefully there won’t be new steelbooks.

Hopefully a replacement program will be in place.

MGM isn’t doing a replacement program for the first Rocky 4K set.

Hopefully all the issues are fixed! I wouldn't mind buying these again, I love the series. The original blu-ray of Rocky was my very first blu-ray I purchased about 10 years ago!

I do not believe for a second they will correct any of the issues from the previous set.
Maybe they'll create more?

The new cut of 5 or 6 hasn’t even been announced I doubt it will be in this set.
