Three film students head into the woodlands of Maryland in search of the Blair Witch, a local legend that has haunted the town of Burkittsville for centuries, as part of a documentary project. They were never seen again. This footage is all that remains of that fateful excursion.

I sure hope this is region free... will be in if it is. The restoration from Hi8 is supposed to make this the first home version that's watchable as it was theatrically.

Theatrically it was all a film-out, so this will be a bit different in that there's no grain in the Hi-8 sections.

This looks like an incredible release. Besides the sequel being included, the Imprint release looks like a joke in comparison to be honest.

Literally my favorite release of the year. Doesn't matter what else comes out. One of my all time favorite movies. This packaging looks amazing. That book is THICK. Theatrical AND festival cuts? New restoration? New commentary and documentaries?

I want like 5 copies of this for no reason.

The sequel has its fans but it doesn't belong paired with this IMO. It's a traditional studio-made sequel with all the cookie cutter stuff that goes with that. I don't hate the film, just think it's a separate thing, maybe belongs in the same universe as the original but it's something entirely different.

Preordered the box set. Looks amazeballs, just hope it actually comes out by Halloween. We all know SS by now. Nothing ever comes out on time.

Ordered this + Late Night + Arizona 4K Steelbook (used for $12.99) from Orbit. Just added that used movie for free shippin. Would have been like $8 so basically only paid $5 for the third movie.
