PS3 Slim screen fill question......

Ok, got a PS3 noob question seeing as I got the slim. Posted the same question elsewhere also......To add to it, the home screen fills in just fine like the 360. No, this is not a discussion on the 360, just that I never had this problem before. Is it this particular game? Or maybe a setting? Hmmmmm

Ok, just picked up my first PS3 and made it a slim as I've been a 360 guy thus far. My question is this being a PS3 noob. For some reason the picture is not filling the entire screen of my 65" HD tv. It's hooked up via HDMI and the tv is set to full. The exact same setup as the 360. The game being played is MLB 09 the show. I've never had this problem before with my 360. Am I doing something wrong? Upon initial setup, I chose automatic for AV options. Did it not do something right? This is bugging the crap outta me. Thanks for any help you can give.
