Jesus pal, I was not in any way disparaging the men and women of the armed forces. I have the utmost respect for all of them. I don't know where you got the idea that I think soldiers are "gun totting savages" but if you can take that from "they can fight a war at 18 and can't drink until they are 21" more power to you. I would like to see the evidence that says "13 year old kids that play a lot of shooters are more likely to kill" than a U.S. soldier. I would suspect that data such as that does not exist since there is almost no measurable way to correlate violence in video games to violent behaviour in young males.

I would also like to see the evidence that says that the liver at 19 is too underdeveloped to handle the effects of alcohol. I have never heard anyone bring up that point, and I have met, and befriended, a lot of med & pre-med students at the university that I attend and work at. No one has ever brought this point up. Sure not all med students can know everything about everything to do with the human body, but they'd probably at least be a good starting point. So if you have a study, from a reputable person or institution, I would like to see it. If you are indeed correct then I have to question why many nations around the world, including my own, would put the welfare of its citizens at harm.

I'm sorry if I offended, attacked or insulted you, and I should of said it better, heck you can stop reading if you are bothered, but I wasn't talking directly at you, I was talking about the stereotypical anti war character that claim the soldiers of our own country as "Gun totting savages", but I also mentioned gamers as to the fact most war based video games have little relevance to do with warfare other than technology, and no I did not claim children that play violent video games will become violent killers, but they have been less sensitive towards actions of violence and with the fault of emotional damage caused by bullying and segregation by their peers and even friends, video games can cause mild emotional fracture, but just any form of entertainment can do that, It is and yes I am a gamer that does play shooters and violent action games. I however used an extreme as someone who could kill you if they can (U.S. soldier) and someone who is a brat kid that plays violent shooters, but his emotional problems would harm his judgement, if not going to, may have a violent intention that would have his desires of killing you,the difference between the two is one has emotional problems and one is disciplined, but the U.S. soldier may have emotional problems and the kid could be disciplined without emotional problems, getting rid of the "brat" tag. I wished I said it better.

About the alcohol age, I actually heard it from a U.S. colonel (I know what you are thinking now) during a class. As your body is not fully developed until you are 25, so are your organs are not fully developed, and your liver can handle so much, it isn't as developed as quickly in your teen years as your body mass, height and size, requiring more food and room. during your more mature teen/ young adult years 18-24 your development in your body focuses on its internal structure allowing them to mature more, and it was suggested the age of 21 as it is the like recommended minimum age for the liver to allow a stable consumption of alcohol to the body (I'm sorry if I sound calculated). A person below the minimum age may consume alcohol and have no problems initially, and even develop a genetic fondness even below the age of 21 (It is considered a food), but it is not typical and many do overcomsume, which is the real problem of it.
