The wording is technically correct. Anything re-released with something new is remastered whether we like it or not, including a slap on of an existing master. But I want to be SO WRONG about this.

Lets hope they are truly remastered and not existing transfers with DV slapped on. As I want Universal to remaster the Bourne films, The Thing and Oblivion

I don't see any issues with The Thing aside from missing the original audio.

Aren't they supposed to be a new scan? Or is only the adition of Dolby Vision and Atmos?

Isn't it rumoured that Arrow and/or Shout is going to be releasing The Thing. I would love a new remaster of The Bourne franchise, as they do need an upgrade. Here's hoping 🤞

So it looks like they're giving us new disc art which is nice! Except The Lost World is the same with the Stegosaurus.

Here's the new pic for the Jurassic World Trilogy too. So it looks like all three have Atmos now here too or is that a mistake? The disc art only shows the Atmos logo on the first one.

I'm in the boat of only wanting Jurassic Park, but not wanting to miss out on the best discs of the whole series.. that is if they do amaray releases later or even release a pack with them, you never know.. kinda forces me to buy both.. *sigh*

And yes, the steelbook is horrible. I'm sure it'll look a bit better on hand, but eh.. At the moment I wish the last JW movie had a new disc but it likely won't. Mostly because I'm hoping to buy the steels here in Spain when they release.. and the last movie had NO extras at all here.

The Audio is what I want fixing, as not buy the 4K withe current messed up audio, so if they can fix it in a new edition, or licence it to Arrow. Then that would be good

I haven't heard of a rumor, but it would not surprise me if Arrow released it.

So of all 6 discs, the only ones with new artwork are Jurassic Park and JP III, the two that badly needed new transfers. Hopefully that’s a good sign

Hopefully just a mistake.

No new disc art for the Jurassic World films. Lazy Universal! Still strange they updated it for Jurassic Park and JP3 but The Lost World was kept the same.

I would venture to guess that they mindlessly slapped the banner on the Jurassic World Trilogy as well without considering it. The UPHE website still shows DTS:X as the audio for Fallen Kingdom and Dominion in this set (though Fallen Kingdom has been updated to show Dolby Vision which it previously did not). I hope I'm wrong.

I have to say that Universal's marketing on this one leaves a lot to be desired. All kinds of half fixes in their information and repeated reposts and such. Maybe they should just figure out exactly what has been done (new scans?) and what each movie has (Dolby Vision; Dolby Atoms?) and then put out an actual press release to that effect. Marketing 101.

Yeah, agree with everything you said. Their rollout of these releases has been a mess as far as marketing, and providing accurate and consistent info.

Which seems to be the norm with studio releases most of the time.

Guess we won't know for sure until someone has the discs in player.

I for one would love to hear Fallen Kingdom and Dominion's original Atmos mixes in lossless, instead of the streaming lossy DD+.

Yeah, it's very vague as far as we, the collectors, would like it. The current wording of "now includes" suggests a slap on over an old transfer. You'd think they would say something like "brand new scan to also include DV and Atmos". Something to that effect. Maybe Universal just isn't in the habit of providing details much of the time. I think the general opinion is that the original JP 4k release is a DNR crap-fest transfer that woulda-shoulda-coulda been a far superior affair.
