Well, UV got back to me again regarding them still not having the Long Arm of the Law set despite telling me their backorder should come in within 2-6 weeks 6 weeks ago:
"Sincere apologies for the delay. Unfortunately, I do not have any new updates as we still have not received this item from the supplier but we have placed an order for it so it will definitely arrive at some point. The backorder timeline of 2-6 weeks is just a general estimate that we provide to customers but there are instances where it can take a bit longer since this timeframe is entirely dependent on the supplier. We hope to receive Long Arm of the Law soon and have this item shipped out to you. Again, we apologize for the delay and for any inconvenience this may have caused you." Suppose not much they can do if 88 Films still hasn't sent it to them (though I wonder if the hard case set is out of production like in the UK and they are doing a Standard which would be an entirely different issue). I did, however, suggest, if they are looking into changing certain policies under new management, to not charge their box set surcharge until they actually ship out the item it is being charged for. (Though I'd much rather them drop those alltogether ![]() |
