Default panasonic v-10 & onkyo 876 handshaking issue

i am having handshaking issues with my new panasonic 58' v-10 and my onkyo 876 receiver. i can plug my ps3 directly into the t.v and all is well, i can plug my receiver into my samsung lcd from the bedroom and all is well. when the 876 and the v-10 pair up i get no picture(snow) on anything 1080p. i can set the receiver's output display settings to source, through, auto, 1080p conversion all to no avail. when the receiver is set to anything below 1080p (1080i,720p,480p) the picture is fine. i was going to contact panasonic on monday about this issue because the t.v is new and under warranty, but my receiver is not. so it will not cost me anything to have a tech out. if they have no fix for me i will return the v-10 and get a samsung instead. the sales man on the phone from where i bought the t.v told me that the samsung 850 is the best comparable set to the v-10. ANY SUGGESTION??
