I'm not real familiar with the XBR7, but Sony uses Motionflow technology. OP - when you hooked the PS3 up to the TV directly (bypassing the AVR), did you plug it into the same HDMI port, or did you plug it into a different HDMI port? I wonder if the port connected to your AVR has the Motionflow turned on High. If so, try setting it to Standard (or the lowest setting) to see if that gives you the desired result. I experienced a similar situation on my KDL-52W model, and adjusting the Motionflow took care of it for me. |
