Marketing gobbledigook, and meaningless anyway unless you plan to watch an all-white picture or stare at the set while it's off. I also highly doubt the 20,000:1 ANSI number they have listed. Kuros are only 13,000:1, and that's the best there is. I'd say they are off by a factor of 10.
