For one, dialogue would be much, MUCH easier to hear, not the opposite. And two, there were a couple of moments in the film with incredibly loud sound effects. One is in the first 2 minutes when we're first introduced to the fallen. If DRC was applied, those scenes wouldn't be nearly as loud or powerful.
