Just got my new sub! Quick question about lfe setup.

Well I was at best buy getting my new computer and it was a lil busy so I took a wLk to HT to see if they had anything worth trying out for 28-29 days

well the sub I was looking at was the klipsch sub 12 which originally was 474.99 but was clearenced for the new line which brought it down to 307.00 So I asked the girl if I could get a discount on a floor model. She said sure 10%. Soi ended up picking it up for $275. So that made me a lil happier. Hopefully it performs now.


Ok so it has the typical red and white RCA inputs but the white also says "lfe" under "L" so does that mean since my pioneer 819 has a dedicated sub output that I only have to run my single rg6 cable I got from monoprice to the white input? WithOUT the y adapter?


Just wondering cuz I thought I remember ppl saying that you gained a lil bit of volume by plugging in both. But maybe that was just for standard RCA s without lfe/..???
