If Lucas wants to re-adjust the art that he has made, that's his choice to do so. If you ask any other Producers or Directors if they had the chance to go back and re-adjust {or re-film or add special effects to} any one of their movies if they would do so, the answer would likely be an astounding YES.

Don't criticize Lucas just because he actually HAS the ability to make those changes because he doesn't have to work ever again {due to making ground breaking deals when the original trilogy was made} so he CAN go back and change whatever he wants, you may not like it, he may not care.
