I just picked up a panasonic 50" G10 and had a chance to set everything back up today. Currently I have comcast HD, and temporarily had it hooked straight to the tv through hdmi yesterday. The picture was fantastic, but I've noticed a slight degrade in picture quality today when I ran hdmi from receiver out to tv and then hdmi 1 on receiver to cable box. It's not a huge difference and I mostly notice in in fast paced scenes.
Is it possible for the receiver to degrade the picture? I thought it acted as a pass through, as it should just pass the 1080i from the cable box to the tv. I've searched through googles search and haven't found a definite answer. |
